This baked Almond-Sesame-Banana bites are easy to make, made out of simple ingredients and absolutely delicious!

They are perfect to eat for breakfast, snack or dessert.

I came up with this idea because my mom is the biggest fan of hot bananas and she asked me once if I could make her baked banana. When I first thought about baked banana, I remembered the banana fritters I always ate at the Chinese restaurant as a child. They are usually coated in batter and then fried in oil. I wanted to make them healthier so I created this recipe and I am so in love with these banana bites I could eat them every day.

These super quick and easy baked banana bites are oil, refined sugar and gluten free.

This recipe is for one banana. (about 8 banana bites)

Time: 5 min preparation time + baking time


  • 50 ml dairy free milk

  • 100 g banana

  • 3 tbsp ground almonds

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp bourbon vanilla


  1. Preheat your air fryer or oven to 220 degree Celsius.

  2. Cut your banana into bite-sized pieces. Mix all the ingredients for your baked banana bites except milk.

  3. First, dip each piece of banana into plant based milk and coat in almond-sesame mixture.

  4. Air fry for 7 minutes, flip the bites halfway through and bake for another 7 minutes.

  5. OVEN: Bake for 30 minutes, also flipping halfway through.
