This is the perfect breakfast for a cold and lazy day and is so easy to make. The texture is perfectly fudgy, but not too doughy. The main ingredient is chickpeas but in the end you won't taste them at all.

The chickpeas and chocolate harmonize perfectly. The chocolate lava is definitely the icing on the cake that makes this recipe perfect.

Serving: 1

Time: 10 minutes + 30 minutes baking time

  • 120 g chickpeas

  • 50 g oats

  • 50 g banana

  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder

  • 70 ml soy milk

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 15 g chocolate (for the lava cake)

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius (350 degree Fahrenheit).

  2. Wash and drain the chickpeas. Blend all ingredients except of chocolate.

  3. Put half of the batter in an ovenproof bowl.

  4. Add the chocolate and the other half of the batter.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes and add a topping of choice. I love to add dried pineapple!
