These incredibly good chocolate baked oats with PEANUT BUTTER BANANA LAVA are so easy and so comforting. Perfect as an evening snack or breakfast! Whenever you crave something chocolaty this is the best way to go.

These baked oats are sweetened with Alpro chocolate pudding and the lava is made out of banana, vanilla and peanut butter. You could also make these baked oats without the lava so they would be even easier and quicker to make. If you make this without the lava you willl only need 3 INGREDIENTS: chocolate pudding, ground oats and baking poweder.

I topped my baked oats with a piece of chocolate and sliced banana and could not imagine anything better. Feel free to add any topping of choice though.

Serves: 1

Time: 5-10 minutes prep time + 15 minutes baking time


  • 40 g ground oats

  • 100 g chocolate pudding (I used one Alpro dark chocolate soy dessert)

  • pinch of baking powder

For the peanut butter filling:

  • 1/2 mashed banana

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • vanilla to taste

Optional topping:

  • piece of chocolate

  • sliced banana


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius.

  2. Mix ground oats, chocolate pudding and baking powder and put half of the batter into an ovenproof cup.

  3. Mix mashed banana, peanut butter and vanilla and also put the mixture into the cup.

  4. Add the other half of the oat/pudding batter, optionally top with sliced banana and bake for 15 minutes.

  5. Take the baked oats out of the oven, top with a piece of chocolate and put it back to the oven for 1 minute to let the chocolate melt all over it.
