Grilled cheese pretzel sandwich featuring juicy tomatoes, onions, fresh parsley and cheese. This is a super easy vegan sandwich that all types of eaters will enjoy!!!

If you love cheese, sandwiches and pretzels you are going to love this one. I've really been loving sandwiches lately and this one really stands for itself.

For this sandwich I did not want to use usual sandwich bread. Instead of that I used my all time favorite sourdough whole grain pretzels. And it turned out to be the best sandwich that I ever ate. You can also make this with store bought pretzels or any other bread you prefer.

I put my pretzel out of the oven when not ready baked yet. I put the pretzel out of the oven about 5 minutes earlier so it could get golden/brown and crispy in my sandwich maker. You could of course also make this amazing sandwich in a pan.

Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 1 sandwich

  • 1 soft wholegrain pretzel

  • 2 cheese sliced @simplyvgenuss

  • sliced tomato

  • sliced onion

  • fresh parsley

  • salt, pepper and chili to taste

  1. Preheat your sandwich maker on heat a pan.

  2. Slice the pretzel and add all ingredients.

  3. Put it into my sandwich maker and grill for about 5 minutes. When making this in a pan, slightly oil the pan and flip the sandwich after 2-3 minutes.
