TINY PEANUT BUTTER JELLY CINNAMON ROLLS

These tiny cinnamon rolls, which only will take you 30 minutes are perfect for breakfast, dessert or as an afternoon snack and are only made out of 5 ingredients!
I've tried a lot of different pastries and did also think a lot about what would be the perfect filling to me. Click here for some pastry inspiration. As I am a biiiiiig fan of peanut butter and jelly I thought about why not putting this into puff pastry and that those tiny and tasty cinnamon rolls are probably the best rolls I have EVER eaten.
The consistency of this flaky puff pastries harmonizes perfectly with the peanut butter and raspberry jam filling and I promise you - as soon as you have started eating them you won't be able to stop.
This recipe serves 12 cinnamon rolls with a diameter of about 5 centimeters.
1 store bought puff pastry (270 grams)
125 grams peanut butter
125 grams banana
50 ml soy milk (or milk of choice)
200 grams raspberry jam
optional: cinnamon for sprinkling
a thread for cutting
Mash the banana and put into a mixing bowl along with peanut butter and dairy free milk and stir well. Optionally you can put all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
Preheat the oven to 200 degree Celsius.
Put the peanut butter banana mixture onto the puff pastry and spread evenly with the back of a spoon. Keep in mind to leave 2-3 centimeters on one long side clear so you will be able to properly close the cinnamon rolls later. (See picture number 1 above.)
Also evenly spread the raspberry jam. (See picture number 1 above.)
Carefully roll up the puff pastry from the long side. (See picture number 2 above.) Sprinkle the 3 centimeters you left with water and close the roll by carefully pressing the dough together.
With a thin thread or a sharp knife carefully cut the roll into 12 pieces. Each roll should be 2-3 centimeters. (See pictures below.) Line a baking tray with baking sheet, put the cinnamon rolls onto the tray and sprinkle with water or milk.
Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
